7 June 2011 Catching up and spending time with wonderful families and being able to capture some life long memories for them is simply priceless. I love my job! I met Nicole and her gorgeous twins Hunter and Mia in July last year. Hunter and Mia feature in the 1st edition of ‘A World of Twins’, black and white photography book and in March 2011 were awarded the People’s Choice prize for their lovely photo at the Twins exhibition. I was very excited about catching up with them and photographing them again. We started out at the local beach to capture some beach scene shots. Great photo shoot with 2 year old twins Ava and Olivia and parents Shane and Peta of Queanbeyan on Saturday 25th June. What a perfect winters day, not a breeze in the air or a cloud in the sky…couldn’t have asked for better weather. We started the photo session indoors and captured the girls playing in their bedroom. Their bedroom was filled with two of everything, baskets, prams, toys and amazingly two little vacuum cleaners – we know who helps Mum with the cleaning too! Toys today are great, they even had a stove that bubbled, lit up and made noises. They were cooking up a feast, simply fantastic – Oh to be a KID again!!! Sunday 26 June – another fun filled photo session with gorgeous 3 year fraternal twin sisters, Kaleigh and Brydie of Queanbeyan, NSW. I was warmly welcomed by Teresa and Ian the proud parents of twins Kaleigh and Brydie and their 4 year old daughter Ella and grand parents from Victoria. Teresa’s parents were lending a helping hand for the busy family as Teresa had been unwell the past week and I am relieved to hear she is on the mend. The hospital gave Teresa a leave pass to attend the photo session. “We could have done the session another day”, I said. Teresa replied “I didn’t want to have to reschedule”.
