What can make a family experience immense joy at a time when they are dealing with some of the busiest moments of their life? When their babies arrive in groups!
When a batch of babies comes along, the family often receive numerous lifelong emotional gifts that they could never have imagined when they first learned they were going to have a multiple birth.
Greatest of all the gifts is the unique bond between the children which begins at conception and often lasts a lifetime. This bond can see the siblings fiercely loyal to each other at the same time that they are in competition and striving to be individuals. Whether identical or fraternal, each child is born with a different personality and temperament and this uniqueness demands special skills when parenting twins and triplets.
